The Getaway Tote
The Getaway Tote made its debut at the Bag Makers Club from Sallie Tomato when I was selected as the Bag Designer of the Month for July! This extra large tote offers multiple customization options for both the exterior and interior. I have recently launched the sewing pattern that is available on this website if you'd like to create a "Uniquely Yours" version of your own!
For this Getaway tote version, it features a colorful canvas fabric with a solid quilt cotton contrast accent, plus black cork on the base base and quilt cotton interior lining. Round metal carry handles with an Antique Bronze finish add a distinctive touch to the classic look. The included cork detachable/adjustable strap can be embroidered with accent stitching for no extra charge.
The spacious interior features an extra large zippered pocket - you may add an optional pocket divider insert with credit card slots for $12. The included triple open slip pocket panel will keep you organized during your travels. It's ideal for sunglasses, a water bottle, and other carry-on supplies. If you'd like extra support for heavier loads, you can also order the optional removable false bottom insert for $15. Metal purse feet are installed on the base to keep it protected and provide stability. All options will be reviewed prior to finalizing your order as they are not included in the base price.
